Setting Organizational Vision: Facilitating a Mission Statement Development Workshop

In 2020, I volunteered as a pro-bono consultant for Pivot Consulting on a project for the Junior Economic Club. I designed and facilitated a board member workshop to help (re)establish the mission statement of the organization. The workshop framework leveraged the purpose-driven concepts of Simon Sinek as part of a five step creative process.

Designing and Implementing an End-to-End Marketing Operations Process

In 2019I worked with a regional-sized retailer as they were going through an organizational transformation initiative to scale their operational capabilities. Prior to my arrival, the company had implemented a process called “Fully Integrated Planning” (FIP), which was meant to align the timelines of all business units for the rollout of each in-store seasonal floor set. I was the Marketing liaison for the organizational “tiger team”.

Leading Through Change: Designing Standard Data Operations

In 2019, I was contracted with a for-profit subsidiary to a national non-profit to scale their Marketing Data Operational capacity. As a small but mighty team, the majority of team resources were being spent on execution of campaign data pulls, rather than on cutting-edge data science techniques for new offerings. The department therefore needed assistance consolidating its efforts through streamlined and standardized process, clear direction, and tools for tracking their progress of building efficiency.

In 2016, I led a cross-departmental initiative to become a more data-driven organization by reallocating Marketing budgets across channels to optimize MROI. My role represented the interests of the Marketing Analytics department, while acting as partner and liaison to merchandising, marketing strategy, channel planning, and marketing execution teams.

Training Project Management Practices: Kanban Methodology

In 2015, I was asked to implement a digital Kanban platform for project oversight and performance management of a Marketing Analytics Department of a national retailer. Prior to my onboarding, this department did not have a project management practice in place. Kanban’s appeal was its simple tracking methods for daily tasks and a user-friendly interface concept that would not infringe upon time spent doing actual work.
